Flavedo & Albedo

Vibrant, fashionable, and high-performing makeup, housed in aluminium, glass, environmentally friendly wood, no plastic employed anywhere. No pots, covers, seals or any other plastic elements are used.

Self-Initiated Project : This visual experimentation expresses my approach by reworking on the current identity of the brand and developing a new vision for it. The resulting library is the outcome of an overall design process.

The brand was created specifically due to the issue of plastic landfill. They carefully considered every element of their products, ensuring that all of them can be easily composted or recycled without the need for specialized programs.

                  Cosmetic bags worldwide are stocked with disposable plastic containers. And annually, the cosmetics industry manufactures at least 120 billion additional ones. The majority of those pumps, customized bottles, caps, and palettes cannot be, or are not recycled. This makes the cosmetics industry one of the leading contributors to plastic pollution. Flavedo & Albedo is here to reconcile their affection for makeup with their worries about plastic waste. The brand works in close partnership with suppliers to eliminate plastic from their supply chain and obtain new, sustainable products.
